Healing Lemon, Ginger, Cinnamon & Honey Elixir

I’ve been making this elixir for over 10 years and have given dozens of jars away to friends and family. I’ve adjusted this recipe over the years and it has has been a family favorite for the cold and flu season.

This tea will give your immunities a boost on healing or you can relax and enjoy a cup knowing it will strengthen your immune system.

It helps soothe a cough, and works miracles on sore throats! It is packed with antibacterial, and anti-fungal ingredients.

Great for singers too!


2 Organic Lemons

3” Piece of Ginger

1-2 Cinnamon Sticks (to taste)

Local Honey (I use the honey from my favorite vendor at the Farmer’s Market)

Jar any size (I think I used an old salsa jar)

To make:

Slice lemon, peel and slice ginger, freshly ground cinnamon (using a coffee grinder) Pour in organic local honey last. Stir to mix ingredients. Marinate in refrigerator overnight.

Enjoy by blending 1 Tablespoon of mixture into a cup of boiling water.
